Máster España played the 3rd Villa de Zaratán Masters Tournament, Santos Antón Memorial on Saturday 26 September at the Infanta Juana sports hall in Zaratán (Valladolid), and took silver after losing a close final to Master Valladolid 2-1.
The tournament brought together six men's teams —including Alcalá, Manzanares, Deusto and Argentina's Abandonados— and three women's teams, with Alcalá winning ahead of Valladolid.
The day had a very special moment before the finals: the tribute to Rubín Martín, who coached so many players in Valladolid volleyball.
