Successful tribute to Miguel Ángel Falasca

SUCCESSFUL TRIBUTE TO MIGUEL ÁNGEL FALASCA.

In memoriam. Miguel Ángel Falasca (Mendoza, 1973 – Italy, 2019) was the setter of the Spanish national team for 16 years (1993–2009): more than 370 matches, the Sydney 2000 Olympics and the 2007 European Championship title. That same year he was named best setter at the World Cup in Japan. A visionary of Spanish volleyball, he also triumphed with clubs in Spain, Italy, Belgium and Poland, and later as a coach. He left us far too young, aged 46, in June 2019.

On 1 May in Arroyo de la Miel, Benalmádena, the Tribute to Miguel Ángel Falasca was held, a charity event in aid of the CUDECA foundation to create a paediatric palliative care unit.

With the participation of renowned players and former players, men and women, whom you can see at this link. Around 80 people, players and family members, were involved in the event, with an audience of about 200.
